Race and Ethnicity: State of Oregon, Population by Ethnicity, Hispanic origin

When the Census Bureau added a question on Spanish/Hispanic Origin in 1980, 65,847 people identified themselves as Hispanic. That number grew rapidly in Oregon over the following 30 years. In 2010 just over 450 thousand Oregonians are of Hispanic origin, comprising 11.7 percent of all Oregon residents.
