Recent County Population Change: Natural Increase

Statewide from 2010-2015, natural increase accounted for 59,100 persons, or about one-third of Oregon's population change. This natural increase was accounted for by two-thirds of Oregon's 36 counties.

During the period, one -third of Oregon's counties experienced a natural decrease (more deaths than births). These counties tend to have median ages higher than the state’s median age.
